Happy Thanksgiving!

I know it's been a while since I've posted and I promise I've got some great things that I'll be bloggin' up later this week but for now I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all our loved ones a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I'd also like to say that I am so thankful for our Savior, Jesus, who at every moment is showering his Love and Grace upon this undeserving soul. He is worthy to be Praised!

I am also thankful for my beautiful Momma. Her love for my family went above and beyond as she fought so hard to stay with us. I wish she were here but I am so grateful to have had such an amazing mother. I miss her beyond what words can express.

I am thankful for my husband who has been so supportive, understanding and loving. He is my best friend and am I so excited to spend my life with him!

I am thankful for my Dad. He is doing his absolute best to move with the flow of the waves of change. He is trusting the Lord and I am so proud of him.

I am thankful for Adrian and Dan, my brothers. My Adrian is so sweet. I mean, he can be so sweet. His need for routine is helping keep us grounded. And Dan is so, so good to him. He puts himself below the rest of us and does everything he can to help us. I love you, brothers!

I am thankful for my New Family! I have never met a more welcoming, loving, incredible family. Everyone has opened their arms and hearts to me and I am so, so, so blessed!

I am also thankful for my Friends. Thank you for being available to me and letting me know it. Thank you for being my friend!

Happy Thanksgiving to All and to All a Good Night!

Two Days Till the Game!

So, friends, I got the tickets! We're going to the game! I'm so excited. I really think we're gonna have ourselves a good game.

I'll be wearing blue and orange. I'm going to get blue contact lenses so that even my eyes will be rooting for BSU.

Jason will be wearing 'gold', 'silver', blue and orange. Weird combination, huh? Well I'm think it will be so cold that all you'll see is our winter jackets. AND my BSU hair ribbon.

I'm also excited for the pre-funk party we'll be having at our apartment. My friend Crissy and her husband David will be coming over a couple hours before the game. We're gonna make quesadillas and have chips and salsa. I'll also be using my espresso machine to steam us some hot chocolates. I'll post pictures later.

In other news....I'm SO EXCITED about Nate and Lea's wedding! My mother-in-law Melanie was telling me about the Vineyard they will probably be having the party and the bed-and-breakfast we'll hopefully be staying at. All in wonderful Germany. Not only will we be having a great vacation with our awesome family celebrating a beautiful occasion, Jason and I will be together in Europe for our one year anniversay.

Yay! :)

Two Early Mornings

Well hello, friends. I am writing to you from a borrowed laptop as I sit on the cold, tile floor of the Student Union Building at BSU. This is my second morning doing this. I've been here since six and will be here 'til 10:06 am. Or around there. I'm in line waiting. Waiting for what, you ask? Only extremely important football tickets.

Boise State University vs. University of Idaho.

This Saturday. One of the clock in the afternoon.

I think I'm more excited than Jason is. No, I am more excited than he is.

So, the game had better be awesome and the broncos had better win. Although I am a little concerned about the weather we supposed to be having that day. It would be nice if the Smurf Turf was indoors instead of out.

It's ok. We're from North Idaho.

GO BRONCOS!

Firetrucks

An interesting thing happened last night.

Four firetrucks came to our apartment complex. Their sirens were screaming and the horns were blaring as Jason and I looked at each other like 'woah. what's going on'. Now that seems to be a typical response when one hears the roar of 'EMERGENCY' nearby. But Jason and I were concerned for our own personal reasons.

You see, we had just been joking that since Jason was tickling me and I was yelling 'Stop! Stop!' that the neighbors would hear and call the cops. Or the fire department.

We were scared that they had!

But no. Totally not. Someone's oven was sparking so they sent all of Boise Fire Department to investigate.

PHEW! Thank goodness it was just people's very lives in danger and not us being called on suspicion of domestic violence.

Ok, show's over. Nothing to see here.
